We live in a 1 1/2 story house built in 1919. Our bathroom's ceiling is currently set up along the roof line and we would like to get a shed dormer to utilize the entire space. Currently can't fully stand to take a shower. We're looking at just building a dormer with a window and keeping the existing fixtures, claw foot tub and plumbing.

New vanity tops and sinks for 3 bathroom. 1t is small 1/2 bath with small one sink vanty. It has a new sink so just looking for vanity top. 2nd is 2 sink vanity top and a new white toilet. 3rd one sink long vanity and a new white toilet. Looking at updating for future sale of home. Not looking for top line granite etc.

I am selling my house. I need to replace my whirlpool tub in my master bath. It is a corner whirlpool tub that is 60 inches by 60 inches. It is 18.5 inches tall. I have seen a nearly identical tub at Lowes (but it is 22 inches tall). Please provide an estimate for replacing my tub or installing the tub from Lowes.

Moving to KC (looking to buy a home in Parkville). The house we are considering is new construction with about 1200 sq ft of unfinished basement. What is the ball park square footage price to finish with framing a bedroom, installing a bath and the rest as media room with bar? I realize this is general, but I want a general idea of costs. My parents and my family are interested in renovating my parents house to accomadate a mother-daughter setup. It is a cape style house, dormored, but we would like to raise the entire roof, making a full upstairs (3 bedrooms and 2 baths). Also , my mom had added a family room to her existing house (originally a 2 bed one bath cape) and we wanted to extend that family room to accomadate a living space for them (1 bedroom, 1 office a kitchenette and handicapped accesible bath) We'd love to have an estimate on this project. I am wanting to convert a garage into a bedroom and a closet and a bathroom, carpet ect. The room next to it requires a little work carpet, closing off the washer and dryer and turning the closet that faces the den around. Would like to share the bathroom with the other room if possible.
